A Cozy Coastal Blue Transitional Living-Dining Room

We chose a large gray sectional and added a pile of contrast beachy cushions for texture and a splash of color. We placed the sectional before the fireplace for optimal cozy TV viewing, and to bring in-depth and texture; we layered a white jute rug as the base with a blue and white patterned Ruggable rug. In front of the window, we added two velvet navy blue armchairs for a burst of color and additional seating. This transitional design in coastal vibes feels polished and adult while still practical for life with little ones. Moving to the dining room, a wooden table is paired with gray upholstered chairs at the head of the table and woven wooden dining chairs, which lend an earthy touch to space. Lastly, we brought natural elements to space with a natural tree stump from West Elm, a Kazi basket for additional storage of throws and pillows, and a braided jute pouf from CB2.

I loved the design my designer created. It was warm and cozy all at once. I’ve already bought the table in the design.

I love my design! It feels warm and cozy even with the amount of grey that is currently in there. I’ve wanted that rug for a while sp seeing it used it in the design helped me make my mind up. I have already bought the coffee table and plan on buying the rest too. This design is everything I was looking for.
