Barn Doors: A Mid-Century Rustic Bedroom

The light and airy color palette make this modern bedroom feel cozy and warm. We added a couple of gray hues to the design to bring in that rustic vibe. The area rug in light gray striped creates more visual delineation in the space while still complementing the existing pieces of furniture like the clean-lined dresser and the accent pillows on the crisp white bed. Dark gray ceramic lamps from Surya have a unique shape and unpolished texture to compliment the grain seen in your bed and nightstands. We’ve placed a floor-length mirror to invite the natural light. Lastly, sliding barn doors add a dose of farmhouse character to this modern bedroom.
